SPEED SKATING
INLINE SPEED SKATING is a high-speed competitive sport where participants race on inline skates, typically on a smooth, paved surface such as a road, banked track, or indoor track. Athletes use specialized inline skates designed for speed and maneuverability. Races can vary in distance, from sprints to longer endurance events. Inline speed skating demands agility, balance, and exceptional speed as competitors navigate tight corners and strive to outpace their opponents. It's a thrilling sport that combines athleticism, technical skill and, of course, SPEED!
LEARN TO SPEED SKATE
WHAT WE TEACH
Our speed classes are for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to experienced skaters. Participants learn starts, turns and techniques to increase their speed. A Skate City Sports membership is required for just $30 per month.

All players who sign-up for a Skate City Sports membership and Learn to Speed Skate will get a $100 COUPON towards a pair of brand new skates.
INDOOR SPEED SKATING
INDOOR SPEED SKATING is offered at all Skate City locations and includes practices and meets.

ACADEMY: Thursdays from 8:00pm - 9:00pm
ARVADA: Tuesdays from 8:00pm - 9:00pm
AURORA: Wednesdays from 8:00pm - 9:00pm
AUSTIN BLUFFS: Tuesdays from 8:00pm - 9:00pm
LITTLETON: Thursdays from 8:00pm - 9:00pm

OUTDOOR SPEED SKATING
SKATE CITY SPORTS offers outdoor speed skating for skaters who can't get enough speed. Outdoor competition can be a loop ranging in distance or a point-to-point format.

STALLIONS RACING
STALLIONS SPEED RACING is the competitive speed skating team for Skate City Sports. Open to all speed skaters with a Skate City Sports membership, the Stallions compete against other speed skating programs in Colorado and around the nation.
