LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY is an exciting and educational program designed for individuals of all ages who are eager to delve into the sport of inline hockey. Our program aims to introduce players to the fundamentals of the sport, covering essential skills such as skating techniques, stickhandling, passing, and shooting. Taught by experienced instructors, the program not only focuses on building the necessary skills but also emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. Whether you're a complete novice or have some prior experience, the "Learn to Play Hockey" class provides a supportive environment for individuals to develop their abilities and foster a passion for the sport. Players can expect a fun and engaging journey as they lace up their skates and take their first strides towards becoming proficient hockey players.

Learn-to-Play Hockey
Program Includes:

Skate City supplies gloves, shin guards, and helmets for any players that need them - all players should have their own stick and elbow pads (recommended)

*Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to get equipment on.

What We Teach:

• Skating Techniques, proper way to hold the stick
• Puck Handling, skating with the puck
• Passing & Catching the Puck
• Shooting the Puck, wrist shot and slap shot
• Backwards Skating & Defensive Techniques
• Review of all skills plus Inline Hockey positions
• Scrimmage Games
